I know I'm a little late on this but we love our mom's all year long so...well I don't have much of a reason for being late, just had forgotten to load the photos!
So we had a BBQ for Mother's Day and had both mom's (and family) over for the day.

It stayed nice outside long enough for us to sit and enjoy a meal on the patio.
These are Honey-Roasted Peanut Cookies, and they are addictive! They're part of my Baking My Way Through challenge.
The men in the back lane checking out how they are going to make a better parking space back there. You know, doing a little man stuff.
The mom's opening their gifts. I made them up some little samplers of different loose leaf teas and they each got a little tea pot or mug.
This is the Vanilla Bean Cheese Cake I made. It turned out so well, I am really happy about that because the last time I made a cheese cake was for Marshall's birthday (a year ago) and before that it hadn't been for years!
I'm not sure if you can see this but there are three different layers: cheese cake, sour cream layer and then Vanilla Bean Butter Cream! It was really tasty! I still have a slice in the freezer. I'm saving it for when I'm really craving it!
In the evening we ordered pizza from Clubhouse, on so good and oh so cheap, two things I love!
Ooo what is that drink in the 2nd pic? it looks delicious!

How fun, looks like you all had a great day!! Your cheesecake looks divine! Funny thing is, I also made a cheesecake for Mother's Day, everyone enjoyed it so much it was gone by the end of the night. Of course, there were 7 of us eating it, at different times during the day.
